I've been an English Teacher for more than 20 years, and have worked in many international companies such as Shell, YPF, Microsoft, Accenture, Exolgan, Prudential and Mercedes Benz as well as private institutes and academies. For the last 5 years I have been working exclusively online through Skype and Google Meet, mostly with individual students but also with some European companies.
Regarding the classes, we usually use English File textbooks as a base, looking at everyday topics such as shopping, holidays, sports, cinema/tv, food or cooking, and practising the most common vocabulary related to those topics. The emphasis is always on getting the student to speak as much as possible, making corrections where necessary but without being too intrusive.
