As a native English speaker and CELTA certified English tutor with 2 years of English teaching and tutoring experience I am uniquely equipped to help you build your English language skills and knowledge. I am currently an English Dozent at the Münchner Volkshochschule, and I do private lessons online.

I have a deep personal understanding of how traditional educational methods do not meet the needs of every student, and have developed a passion for finding what works best for each student. I know that most traditional methods of teaching language look nothing like the way we learn language when we are out in the world so I favor methods that look and feel like learning language naturally. I do use older teaching methods, especially when a student finds them helpful, but I am not afraid to try new things and let you lead the lessons where you want to.

Most importantly, I create a safe space to learn, so you can feel comfortable trying new things and learning from any mistakes. This helps me focus on helping you to communicate clearly so you can communicate effectively. I want you to learn to love playing with the English language, because the more you experiment and try things out the more likely you are to feel comfortable with English's often complex and contradictory "rules".
