Elena Gegova

I'm Elena, 19 years old in my first year at the university of Maastricht doing the bachelor of European studies. I have finished high school with two foreign languages - Russian and English. I have my CAE Cambridge English Advanced Certificate and I have my Pushkin Institute certificate for C1 - Advanced level. Previously I have participated and placed in multiple foreign language competitions and olympiads. In the Fourth Secondary School Translation Contest organised by New Bulgarian University 2022 I won 3rd place translating from and to Russian. And in 2022 I was a finalist at the multilingual competition, writing and translating to and from English and Russian. As my parents have taught foreign languages both on school and university level, have always had passion for languages and a knack for teaching. Since starting my degree, my level of English has increased drastically, and now I feel confident sharing my knowledge with others and helping them achieve their goals.
