With more than 10 fitness certifications and over a decade of experience, my fitness instruction blends a variety of modalities to meet my students' needs. I've taught fitness in 5 countries to a wide variety of bodies, including the very young and very old. I've worked with children, families, adults, and older adults, in group and private settings. I understand that everybody is unique. Therefore, there's a "one-size-fits-one" method to my instruction, whether it's with a group or an individual. My home fitness studio has a wide variety of apparatus. Therefore, it's easy for me to match whatever my students have available in their own homes. I am happy to record the class and provide it to the student afterward so they can repeat it on their own. If a student is looking to alter their body dramatically; is recovering from injury; or has the time, I highly recommend multiple sessions per week. We'll cover a different type of fitness or goal in each session to achieve targeted results. The first session is always longer so that we can talk through the students' goals, body, history, likes, and dislikes. Both the students and I will do the class so they can watch, listen, and receive my feedback. Students comment that they really enjoy being able to see each other and sweat through it together! Our fitness sessions are normally 1 hour long, but 30- or 45-minute sessions are just as effective. Students are also welcome to take my classes on YouTube and Facebook for "free" (I do not charge a membership for my public online classes. I simply ask students to pay "what they want, when they want.") I love meeting new people from other places! If English isn't your first language, no problem! I'm also happy to chat with students via WhatsApp or Facebook. We can use Google Translate to get to know each other. Then, we can do the workout and talk about it via chat afterward. I'm flexible! (Get it? I teach yoga?)
