TEACHING METHODS

Task-Based Learning: Each lesson revolves around real-life tasks and exam-like activities that replicate the types of questions and situations students will encounter in their Cambridge exams. This ensures that students not only master the language but are also prepared to use it practically in various contexts.

Interactive Tools and Multimedia: I incorporate multimedia resources such as videos, podcasts, and interactive quizzes into lessons, keeping students engaged and helping them develop listening, reading, and speaking skills in an enjoyable, immersive way.

Scaffolded Instruction: I break down complex tasks (writing essays, speaking prompts, etc.) into smaller, manageable parts. For example, in writing tasks, we focus on planning, drafting, and revising to ensure clarity and coherence. I guide students every step of the way to improve their language production.

Listening: Listening exercises are diverse, ranging from everyday conversations to academic lectures, allowing students to practice identifying key information, tone, and context. We use both authentic materials and exam-style tasks to strengthen listening comprehension.

Speaking: Through virtual pair work, group discussions, and presentations, students actively practice speaking tasks similar to those in the Cambridge exams. We focus on fluency, pronunciation, and accuracy, with constructive feedback provided for improvement.

CLASSROOM DYNAMICS
Active Participation: Students are encouraged to actively participate in all areas of the lesson. I create opportunities for students to work individually, in pairs, and in small groups, depending on the task at hand. This ensures that everyone practices speaking and listening, and has a chance to engage with their peers.

Student Collaboration: Through group discussions, debates, and pair work, students practice speaking naturally and learn to collaborate with their classmates, simulating real-life situations and exam tasks such as speaking interviews or group interactions.
