I have been teaching English to different age groups and levels for more than 15 years . I have a Master's degree in teaching English Language and Literature, I am CELTA certified. Furthermore, I have a Master's degree in teaching Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in international relations. I am a life-long learner myself. I am doing teacher development courses and I try to stay up-to-date in modern teaching trends and practices.


I adjust the material to my students' individual needs and interests. This is one of the biggest challenges to create lesson plans that are engaging, relevant and effective. I always use authentic material from websites and I use books to give a structure to my classes. I like to use interactive materials and games with younger students, high schooler are open to read books in English and do more sophisticated and organised tasks. I have been doing IELTS classes to help my students to pass international language exams. I also teach Economics in high school and I like to incorporate financial studies and business English to those high schoolers who are interested.

I like to see my students at least once a week so I can ensure a continuous development. I am happy to help students who are struggling with English and help them to build confidence, also I am available to those who want some extra (learning higher level vocabulary and grammar etc), and of course to adults.
