About me:
My name is Khaled and I am currently a Ph.D. student at Akdeniz University located in Antalya, Turkey. My major is communication, a major that allows to explore the relationship between language and culture. As a PhD candidate, my research is related to language and its relationship to cultural identity and integration.
I have a great passion for language and all its aspects, and currently I work as a language instructor, translator and interpeter. I have been a language instructor for over 5 years, and I have taught more than 1500 students from all over the world, including Japan, China, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Syria. I have taught children and adults, students and businessmen, individuals and groups, both conventionally and virtually. I have taught Arabic, English and French.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy discovering new cultures, places, and of course, food! My hobbies are volunteering, reading, talking to people, watching movies, traveling, and doing so many other things...
My teaching Style:
Basically, my style depends on you as a student. I believe that the student is the center of the class. Therefore, in the first lesson, I try to discover the way that works best for my student, then we start my teaching journey accordingly.
I also believe that communicating with others (just like children learn naturally through interacting with parents) is a great way to learn any language. Thus, I focus on interacting with my students.
So, if you think that this suits you, then join my class, and let's learn while having fun.
