When it comes to teaching, I try to keep things fun and engaging. I adjust my lessons based on each student’s needs and learning style. For example, if someone learns best visually, I’ll use pictures and examples. If they prefer more conversation, we’ll practice speaking skills and talk about everyday topics.
The content I cover really depends on what the student wants to work on, whether it's grammar, vocabulary, writing, or speaking. I like to throw in some fun activities and cultural tidbits to make things more interesting and give them a better feel for the language.
I keep the classroom atmosphere relaxed but still focused. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Confidence is key, so I encourage them to keep trying new things without fear of getting it wrong.
As for my experience, I’ve been teaching English and German for a while now to people of all ages and levels. I don't have a formal teaching degree, but I’ve learned so much by just helping out and seeing my students grow. It’s been a really rewarding experience, and I love seeing them succeed! I truly value the time I spend with my students and the connections I make along the way. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing them not only get better at the language but also go on to be great in life and achieve their dreams.
