In my lessons, I adopt a communicative approach that emphasizes real-life language use. Each session begins with a warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge and set the context for the lesson. I then introduce new vocabulary and grammar concepts through interactive presentations, incorporating multimedia resources and authentic materials such as videos, articles, and dialogues.
To cater to both English and Arabic speakers, I provide explanations and examples in both languages, ensuring comprehension for all learners. During practice activities, students engage in pair and group work, allowing for peer interaction and collaborative learning. Additionally, I incorporate cultural elements to deepen understanding and appreciation of the Arabic language and its contexts.
Throughout the lesson, I integrate all language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—through various activities such as role-plays, debates, games, and multimedia projects. To reinforce learning, I provide constructive feedback and opportunities for reflection.
Finally, each lesson concludes with a review session to consolidate learning and preview upcoming topics. By incorporating diverse teaching strategies and catering to the needs of both English and Arabic speakers, my lessons foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
