I try to listen to the student as much as possible. If they have encountered issues with writing, we will focus on that aspect in particular; if they need to learn how to give a presentation, idem. The idea is that we talk about their needs, hopes and dreams; and tailor the online course to their individual profile. As I have no handbook to propose (I do not think there is one, definitive method to learning a language), I am very much open to suggestions.

The most important part is that we learn how to communicate, and have fun in doing so.
