Hello!
My name is Luka. (You don't have to call me "sir" or "professor" -- teacher or simply Luka is just fine.) I was born and raised in a tiny village in Croatia's Slavonia. As a child, I had gone wild about books and never actually stopped desiring to read and collect (but that's a whole other hobby!) more and more books. (So can you please hire me to get more???)
Anyway. Fortunatelly, I could enroll in English Language and Literature programme at the university (Psychology was another option; I never really stopped studying it) and graduated with fine grades and recommendation letters for (possible) further education in the field.
However, I got a job in the publishing industry (BOOKS!) as an editorial assistant and never enrolled in master's programme. Then I started proofreading books as a freelancer, later translating them from English into Croatian. Then some content creating and copywriting, all in English, and English started feeling like my first language at some point.
However... I have never been a tutor. Except to a few cousins and friends, which I do not consider a serious job -- but I have the will to do it. Something new. Interacting with new guys and gals, analysing, studying, the anatomy of the English language.
To be crystal clear: I'll be tutoring children AND adults, all up to the C1 level, everyone older than 10 years of age (namely because I don't speak German and I will need you to understand at least some English).
Oh, boy, this could become such a ride. The only problem is, I need your help to make it possible. LET'S DO IT. Let us spread our minds and write upon its sheets new words and phrases and voices!
