I have more than 7 years of teaching experience of teaching in the UK and IB-based education system. I have so far taught English, Sociologymethodics, Global perspectives and Research, and History both privately and also in some of the most prestigious institutions.
My classes are general discussion based and student-centric. The lessons would generally include an introduction to the topic, along with a short analysis, followed by a discussion. It is the discussion, I believe, is where true learning takes place. Hence, I guide my students with research, help them organise their own authentic talks, and help them write these thoughts in the form of presentations, essays, and reviews.
So if you have a class with me, you would be expected to do your readings and watch your visual aid. This would make the class more interesting as well, as I don't just believe in giving traditional readings, rather I believe there is more to learn from everyday mundane life events then there is from mouthfuls of jargon. Though, this does not mean that we in our classes exclude the jargon completely, rather, their jargon is driven from our experiences leading us to the textbook reading.
So far, my clients and the organizations that I have worked with have been very happy with my work. My track record for grades is also very decent, the focus in class is more towards a holistic approach to the subject that we study.
