My classes always start with small talks and reminder of the previous one. I use spiral method for the revision and development of new language skills. Most of the class is used for talking, followed by listening and/or reading comprehension. Writing is mandatory in my tuition. It is rarely practiced during the class, as it is time consuming activity, so I usually give some homework, which is not observed as a burden by a student. It is usually some kind of essay (descriptive, narrative), or a letter to me or someone else. All activities are tailored to the candidates' needs and previous level of knowledge. The materials I use are a combination of my own practice tests and texts, and of textbooks and workbooks advised by the employer.
My native language is Serbian/Montenegrin, but I also speak Croatian, Italian, Slovak and English, of course. I have a degree in English Language and Literature and Italian Language and Literature.
