I have been teaching English for over 30 years in various learning environments and with students of different ages and from diverse educational backgrounds. All this experience has formed my philosophy, which is based on the belief that language is a powerful tool for communication, cultural understanding, and personal growth.
I always give priority to the creation of meaningful and authentic learning experiences, as I believe in the importance of providing students with ample opportunities to practice and apply their language skills in real-life contexts. I also take into consideration the unique backgrounds, learning styles, and individual needs of my students. The use of a variety of instructional strategies, multimedia resources, and technology aim to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that supports the development of all learners.
Moreover, as an educator in the field of teaching English as a foreign or second language, I believe in fostering a student-centered and communicative approach to language learning and I strive to cultivate a positive and supportive as well as an inclusive learning environment and I value the importance of building strong relationships with my students based on respect, empathy, and trust. Besides, my educational philosophy in teaching English as a foreign or second language focuses on student-centeredness, communication, cultural understanding, differentiation, inclusivity, and continuous professional growth. Through this approach, I aspire to empower my students to become confident and competent as well as to make them feel motivated, empowered, and encouraged to actively engage in their language acquisition journey.
