I prepare my own teaching with the help of the parent/students' requests. I mostly teach grammar, speaking, comprehension and beginner lever writing.
The slides come with homework activities including activities to do with parents and friends outside of class.
I encourage English-speaking in class. This is to help my students feel more comfortable speaking English and allows them to rely less on their home language.
I haven't had much difficulty with my current students. I remain patient, understanding and kind as learning English can be frightening for some students. Especially those afraid to fail but I believe that anyone of any age can do it.
Trying and failing is better than not trying at all.
