My basketball and swimming lessons are structured to focus on skill development, physical fitness, and personal growth. Here’s how they work:
Basketball Lessons:
Warm-Up: We begin with dynamic stretches and light drills to prepare the body and prevent injuries.
Skill Development: Focused training on essential basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive techniques.
Game Strategies: Learning and practicing offensive and defensive plays, teamwork, and decision-making on the court.
Practice Games: Applying skills in scrimmages to build confidence and enhance game performance.
Feedback & Improvement: Constructive feedback to refine techniques and track progress.
Swimming Lessons:
Introduction & Safety: Emphasis on water safety and comfort, especially for beginners.
Technique Focus: Training on strokes like freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, tailored to the swimmer’s level.
Endurance & Speed: Building stamina and improving lap times through drills and interval training.
Diving & Turns: Teaching proper diving techniques and turns for competitive swimmers.
Cool-Down & Review: Relaxing stretches and a summary of the day’s progress with tips for improvement.
