Hello! I’m Yonca Uygun, a computer science teacher by profession, but I also have a great passion for teaching Turkish to foreigners. In my Turkish lessons, I ensure that you not only learn the grammar but also enjoy the richness of Turkish culture. In my online lessons, I teach the natural flow and daily use of the language, reinforcing grammar topics with fun and creative methods.

Teaching Methods and Course Content: In my online Turkish lessons, I make learning interactive by offering fun activities and plenty of opportunities for practice. I teach Turkish not just through words and rules but by immersing it in the culture. Whether through songs, Turkish movies, or situations you might encounter in daily life, I integrate them into the lessons! I prepare lesson plans suitable for all levels, covering everything from the basics of the language to daily conversation skills.

Class Dynamics: In my class, everyone is an active participant. While teaching Turkish to foreigners, I focus not only on speaking the language correctly but also on how it is used in different social contexts. I often practice speaking with my students and do plenty of exercises to improve pronunciation and fluency. Even when working on grammar, I guide the lessons in a fun and creative way.

My Experience and Teaching Philosophy: Although my main profession is computer science teaching, I combine the experience I’ve gained in teaching with creative thinking and innovative teaching methods. Learning a language can sometimes be challenging, but I make sure that every student learns Turkish both effectively and in an enjoyable way. I don’t just teach the language; I also introduce my students to Turkish culture, enriching the learning process.
