My previous experience with teaching has been gained through various roles in the education sector in both Sweden and Germany. I have worked as a teacher's assistant and a substitute teacher at different schools and grade levels. In addition to my passion for teaching English, I come from a large bilingual family where the demand for English tutoring among my nephews and cousins has been a constant aspect of my life. I myself learnt English at the age of 5 and have been fluent and native speaking since, I believe with my previous knowledge and experience learning English as a second language myself I have a greater understanding for best to teach and what tools and methods to use to make the learning fun and efficient.


My teaching Methods:
- Communicative Approach: I like to focus on active communication through conversations and dialog exercises, to enhance oral proficiency, understanding and confidence.

- Task-Based Learning: I use practical tasks and projects to apply language skills in real-life situations.

- Role-Playing: I like for my students to take on different roles and scenarios to practice language interaction in various contexts, it also adds a bit of fun to the learning.

- Visual Aids: Utilising pictures, videos/TV-shows, and other visual aids to make learning more engaging and memorable.


Content:
- Grammar and Vocabulary: Strengthen fundamental grammar and expand vocabulary to improve written and spoken expression.

- Reading and Comprehension: Use articles, short stories, books and other texts to enhance reading comprehension and to expand vocabulary.

- Writing Skills: I will provide exercises to enhance written communication, including essays, letters and even email writing.

- Listening Practice: Utilise audio files and videos with various dialects and topics for listening comprehension training.

-Pronunciation and Accent Training: Focus on correcting pronunciation and improving accent to enhance communication clarity.

Teaching Dynamics:
- Individualised Learning: I will tailor each lesson to fit the student's needs, goals, and interests.

-Interactive Discussions: I like to create an open and supportive environment where the students feel comfortable participating and asking questions.

- Recurring feedback and Correction talks: I provide continuous feedback to help my students improve their language skills and correct any mistakes.

- Real-Life Scenarios: I like to incorporate authentic situations and materials to prepare my students for real conversations and situations.

-Progress Tracking: I monitor the students' progress through regular assessments and adjust the teaching accordingly.
