Hi, my name is Dean and I am a native English speaker and a teacher from South Africa! I am just starting my teaching journey- I have been in the restaurant industry for 25 years. I have turned over a few restaurants making them successful by motivating staff and building them with new skills. During those experiences, I learnt how language allows us to express and communicate our feelings, emotions and expand on ideas. Now I am here to help you improve your English!

My qualifications are as following: TEFL Diploma Level 5 & TEFL Business English.

A bit more about me: in my free time I am an avid chess player. I believe playing chess enhances cognitive skills, improves decision making, boosts creativity as well as increasing patience and perseverance. Those skills are also very helpful while teaching & learning a new language! Besides that, I am passionate about spearfishing and the ocean. For many years I also ran a coin and banknote collecting business on Ebay.
